Membership

Our membership program is designed to offer a bright, welcoming space for experienced potters to explore their creativity and develop their craft within a friendly, supportive community.

Membership benefits

The studio is open to members from 6:00 am to 12:00 am, 7 days a week.

All members receive access to:

  • 1 Personal storage shelf
  • Pottery wheels
  • Selection of tools and dipping glazes
  • Shared worktables
  • Reclaim clay
  • Bisque firing at cone 04 and glaze firing at cone 6 for $.06 per cubic inch, encompassing both firings
  • Additional glaze or bisque refirings for $.03 per cubic inch each

Requirements

To ensure that all members can work safely in the studio without supervision, members must have a minimum of 2 years pottery experience and an ability to work independently.

Additionally, members agree to:

  • contribute to studio upkeep (which may include cleaning of studio, sweeping entryway, clay reclaim, mixing glazes, receiving deliveries on Monday, and other tasks) or additional payment of $65/mo.
  • maintain safety
  • clean up after working
  • keep the overall space clean
  • promote a welcoming, friendly environment

Fees

  • Tier 1 · $300/month Membership benefits
  • Tier 2 · $325/month Membership benefits + 50 lb of white stoneware clay
  • Tier 3 · $350/month Membership benefits + 50 lb of special clay

Membership fees are due on the first of each month. The studio requires a 2-month commitment, with payment of first and last month's fees at time of signing.

The membership may be canceled on or prior to the first day of the month intended to be the final month of membership.
